Challenge #1: Lettuce

I sat for a while with an entire head of lettuce on the table in front of me. After about a minute I decided that I was much too lazy to draw an entire head of lettuce, so I tore off one leaf and propped it up against a candle on the table. I’m sure my mom didn’t appreciate her produce strewn all over the table, but it did make a good picture. I drew the outline with a regular pencil and then came back later with a colored pencil.
Fun first project!
