Other Recent Creative Endeavors
I feel like I’ve been pretty creative in some other ways lately; mostly having to do with food and mostly with the help of my husband.
We made lemonchello (a traditional Italian liquor) from scratch…
We also made Krupnikas (a traditional Lithuanian honey liquor) from scratch… one of our friends is starting a business to make krupnikas. Our batches never turn out as good as his. We can’t wait until he gets everything up and running and we can buy the good stuff! Check out his blog and website http://krupnikas.wordpress.com/.
We made Burek for dinner with a meat and green pepper filling and with a potato and zucchini filling. It was fun playing with phyllo dough!
I also made Molten Chocolate Cake for my grandma’s birthday. I used this delicious recipe I found online http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/molten-chocolate-cake/. I’ve tried making molten chocolate cake before and didn’t really get the molten part right. This time it came out perfectly!
