Moving to Montevideo

Nothing new has gone up here in a while and that’s because my husband and I were in the process of moving. Not just moving to a new place in the neighborhood, but moving to a different country where they speak a different language type of new! My creative juices have been put on hold for just a bit in an effort to make some major adjustments; like learn spanish and get my bearings!

On the creative side, I have taken some artsy photos that I thought I would share.

This is the Lemanjá, candle ceremony. Once a year people send boats with candles into the water as an offering to the goddess of the sea.

This is the view from my bedroom into the atrium in our house.
